Subject: Law No. 162/2021: Amendments to the code set forth in Legislative Decree No. 198/2006 and other provisions on equal opportunities for men and women in employment.
Law No. 162/2021, with the aim of achieving real gender equality within companies, amends Legislative Decree No. 198/2006 - Equal Opportunity Code. Within the text of the law, particular attention deserves the new and broader definition of the notion of discrimination. The text of the law in question also introduces additional and substantial changes, namely:
The requirement to prepare the biennial report to employers with more than 50 employees (previously the requirement covered companies with more than 100 employees);
