March 31 is the deadline set by Conversion Law No. 191/2023 of Decree-Law No. 145/2023 (known as the "Advances" Decree), by which the right to work in agile mode was guaranteed for private sector workers who are parents of children under 14 and frail workers.
In order to work in agile mode as of April 1, 2024, it will be necessary to enter into an individual agreement between employer and employee, returning in full force the rules provided by Law No. 81 of 2017.
