Legislative Decree No.104/22 New disclosure requirements regarding transparent and predictable working conditions

With Gazzetta Official Gazette No. 176 of July 29, 2022, the following was published Legislative Decree No. 104 of June 27, 2022 (the so-called Transparency Decree)., implementing Directive (EU) 2019/1152 of the European Parliament and of the Council of June 20, 2019, on transparent and predictable working conditions in the European Union.


EU Directive 2019/1152, in essence, replaces and repeals Directive 91/533/EEC, which governed the employer's obligation to inform the employee about the conditions applicable to the employment relationship. That directive, was implemented by Legislative Decree No. 152/1997, a decree now amended with the publication of Legislative Decree No. 104/2022, the subject of this circular.
