As previously announced in our circular, Legislative Decree No. 105 of June 30, 2022, introduced a new economic treatment of parental leave, determining in particular the equalization of the average daily wage (on which to base the calculation of the economic allowance due) with that of mandatory maternity leave, including, therefore, the daily accrual related to the Christmas bonus or 13th month's pay and other bonuses or monthly payments or ancillary treatments that may be paid.
The new calculation of the economic allowance due is applied to all events arising from August 13, 2022.
Therefore, August 13, 2022 is a watershed date.:
