a) Updates on Agile Work
Law No. 52 of 19 May 2022, converting Decree-Law 'Reopening' No. 24 of 24 March 2022, made the following amendments regarding agile work:
The terms stipulated in the legislative provisions of Article 90, paragraphs 1 and 2, of Decree Law No. 34 of May 19, 2020, converted, with amendments, by Law No. 77 of July 17, 2020, regarding agile work for private sector workers are extended to July 31, 2022..
This means that employed parents in the private sector who have at least one child under the age of 14, provided that there is no other parent in the household who is a beneficiary of income support instruments in case of suspension or termination of employment or there is no non-working parent, have the right to carry out the work performance in agile mode, even in the absence of the individual agreements, subject to compliance with the information requirements, which are fulfilled electronically, including using the documentation made available on the INAIL website.
In Paragraph 2 of Article 10 of the Reopening Decree Law, Paragraph 2-bis was added, according to which the provisions of Article 90, paragraphs 3 and 4, of Decree Law No. 34 of May 19, 2020, continue to apply until August 31, 2022.
